Facts About Truck Accidents in California
According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, 361 people died in 2017 from large trucks crashes in California. This report proves an unsettling fact: the number of deadly truck accidents has grown yearly, with 259 truck-related fatalities in 2013 to 305 in 2015, and 361 in 2017, the year of the report.
When someone is in an accident with a truck, they can face major injuries that cause life-long pain and suffering. Fatalities are common due to the fact that trucks are so much larger than other vehicles. With their height and weight, it is almost impossible for a driver or passenger to come out of an accident with a truck free of injuries.
