1 Injured in a Crash on 5 Freeway and Via De La Valle in Oceanside

Oceanside, (June 25, 2018) – At least one person was injured following a motor vehicle accident Sunday evening in Oceanside. The multi-vehicle collision was reported at approximately 3:21 p.m. in the northbound lanes of 5 Freeway at Via De La Valle.

Three vehicles altogether were involved in the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol. However, the exact cause and manner of the accident are still unknown at this time. Emergency crews confirmed that at least one person was injured during the collision. The victim was immediately transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for treatment.
