Sorrento Valley, CA – Three Hurt After Tour Bus Crashes Into Car On I-805

Sorrento Valley, CA (May 25, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a tour bus occurred on May 24 just after 12 a.m., that injured three people.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred early Friday morning on Interstate 805 in the Sorrento Valley area.

Just after 12 a.m., a white sedan was stopped in construction traffic on southbound I-805 when an oncoming tour bus full of tourists slammed into it. The impact caused the sedan to crash into a black SUV.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. Three of the four people in the white sedan were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation.
