Indio, CA – Jesus F. Torres Identified As Victim in Fatal Crash on I-10 Near Jeffeson St.

Indio, CA (May 26, 2019) – A pedestrian accident occurred on May 25th at 1 a.m. that took the life of Jesus Francisco Torres, 39.

Torres was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Indio. The deadly pedestrian accident took place on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just west of Jefferson Street. Torres was walking in the region when he was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. Sadly, Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
