Corona, CA- Arrest Made in Fatal Crash on the 15 Fwy Near Dos Lagos Dr

Corona, CA (May 27, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported that 21-year-old Lake Elsinore resident Lissete Salazar was arrested for felony DUI charges in an accident on Sunday morning that killed one person.

The crash happened around 4:15 am south of Dos Lagos Drive on the 15 Freeway.

According to the CHP, Salazar was driving southbound in a 2006 BMW 630i at high speed. He crashed his car into a 2018 Toyota Tacoma. The Toyota’s driver died at the site of the crash.

Salazar was treated for pain by emergency medical personnel and then taken into custody by officials.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
