San Diego, California – 26-Year Old Man Injured During Pedestrian Accident

San Diego, California (June 24, 2018) – San Diego local news reported that one person was injured in a pedestrian accident near Moreno Boulevard and Littlefield Street at roughly 7:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018. The identities of the 26-year old male pedestrian and the 33-year old male driver who struck him have not been released to the public. Additional information about the vehicle, including model number and year, has not yet been disclosed, either.

Sources indicate the 26-year old man was playing basketball on Littlefield when his ball bounced into the street and he allegedly chased after it. Meanwhile, the 33-year old driver was traveling down Moreno Street when he slammed into the pedestrian. Following the incident, the 26-year old was transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for traumatic injuries sustained from the crash. Authorities and medical personnel have not elaborated on the condition of the driver or whether he cooperated with authorities following the crash.
