Statistics About California’s Pedestrian Accidents
California ranks 15th among the 50 states when it comes to pedestrian deaths. This ranking shows that accidents happen all too frequently in California. On average, someone will die in a pedestrian crash every 111 minutes in the United States. With California’s size and extensive road systems ranging from long-distance freeways to narrow rural roads, many challenges abound for pedestrians attempting to get to and from their locations.
Losing a loved one in a pedestrian crash can be devastating. We rarely expect a car accident death to occur outside of a vehicle, but for too many pedestrians, this is often the case. The attorneys at the Brady Law Group have secured multi-million dollar settlements for victims of pedestrian accidents and the families of those who’ve died in this type of accident.
