UPDATE: Arleta, CA – Henry Muyomba Killed in 8-Car Collision on I-5

Arleta, CA (May 29, 2019) On the morning of May 26th, a fatal car accident happened on the Interstate 5 freeway near Van Nuys Boulevard. A minimum of eight vehicles collided for unknown reasons on the freeway at around 4:20 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found at least two people suffering from serious injuries and were immediately rushed to the closest hospital for treatment. Sadly, one of the victims died at the hospital. He has been identified as 29-year-old Henry Muyomba. The other injured victim is still in critical injuries. Three children were involved in the crash and were fortunately unharmed. There were also two people in one of the other vehicles that were found unconscious.

The police are still investigating what caused the fatal wreck.
