Los Angeles, CA – 2 Killed and 1 Injured in Fatal Two-Car Crash on Avalon Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (May 30, 2019) On the night of May 29^th, a fatal two-car crash happened at the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue. A Ford Mustang was headed southbound on Avalon Boulevard when it turned onto Rosecrans Avenue and crashed directly into a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The passenger side of the Mustang collided with the front of the Toyota. The impact of the crash caused the Mustang to spin out of control and strike a metal signal pole at the intersection.

When emergency crews arrived, they found that a 27-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman had ejected out of the Mustang and landed onto the sidewalk. Sadly, the woman had already passed away at the scene. The man sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, he also succumbed to his injuries despite treatment. The 24-year-old driver of the Toyota also sustained injuries and was tended to at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the accident.
