Los Angeles, CA – Motorcycle Police Chase Kills Pedestrian On Arcadia St.
Downtown Los Angeles, CA (June 1, 2019) – A pedestrian accident involving a motorcycle who led authorities on a pursuit occurred early Friday morning, that took the life at least one person.
The chase started right before midnight on the southbound 605 Freeway at Whittier Blvd. when the suspect, Brian Jesse Leon of East Los Angeles, ran a red light.
The motorcycle driver drove on multiple freeways, including the 605 and 101 freeways, and exited Alameda St. The pedestrian was struck and killed on Arcadia St.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. Unfortunately, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Brian Jesse Leon was treated at a hospital after sustaining multiple injuries and was placed under arrest.
