Hacienda Heights, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Wreck on 60 Fwy

Hacienda Heights, CA (June 4, 2019) On the morning of June 4^th, a hit-and-run wreck happened on the 60 Freeway. A silver Mercedes SUV, potentially a GLC500, switched lanes and collided with an oncoming motorcyclist. Somehow a Toyota Corolla was also involved in the accident and sustained damages along with a popped tire. The crash happened at approximately 7:41 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the motorcycle and Toyota Corolla blocking the HOV lane after the crash. Unfortunately, the Mercedes fled the scene without checking to see if the others were okay. The paramedics found the motorcyclist injured in the roadway and immediately transported the rider to the closest hospital for treatment.

The California Highway Patrol are still investigating the collision and searching for the driver in the Mercedes.
