Fatal Hit-and-Run Crashes in California
When a driver flees the site of a pedestrian crash, the injured or deceased victim and their family must take on the burden of the crash’s overwhelming effects. Anger, sorrow, and other feelings combine with the complication of physical and financial issues involved with the crash.
When a car crash of any kind occurs, everyone involved must remain at the site. Even drivers who are not at fault for the crash must stay and cooperate with officials. Fleeing the site of a crash of any type is against the law.
