Rancho Cordova, CA – Motorcyclist Severely Hurt In Traffic Accident At Sunrise Blvd. And Hwy. 50

Rancho Cordova, CA (June 9, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle occurred on June 7th at around 5:16 p.m., that severely hurt the bike’s rider.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred at the Sunrise Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound Highway 50.

The accident took place when a black colored Toyota sedan and motorcycle collided into each other at the intersection for unknown reasons. The force of the collision pushed the car onto the right-hand shoulder.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. Sadly, the motorcycle rider sustained significant spinal cord injuries following the wreck. He has been taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The accident is still under investigation.
