San Luis Obispo, CA – 2 Killed in Fatal Head-On Collision on Hwy 101

San Luis Obispo, CA (June 12, 2019) On the morning of June 12^th, a fatal head-on collision happened on Highway 101, not far from Higuera Street. A Ford Fiesta was driving in the wrong direction in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on with a Honda Civic. The accident took place at around 6:00 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found both of the drivers critically injured at the scene. Despite immediate medical aid, both of the drivers did not survive their injuries.

Authorities are thoroughly investigating the accident to determine why one of the vehicles was traveling in the wrong direction.
