Hemet, CA – Harvey Beck Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident on State St

Hemet, CA (June 13, 2019) On the 12^th of June, a hit-and-run car accident happened at the intersection of State Street and Stretson Avenue. A pickup truck was approaching the intersection when a Chevrolet Suburban sped out of a parking lot and T-boned the pickup truck on its passenger side. The accident happened at around 4:00 p.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the driver of the pickup truck suffering from right thumb and ankle injuries. They immediately rushed him to the closest medical facility for medical aid. He has been identified as Officer Harvey Beck.

Unfortunately, the driver of the pickup truck fled the scene without checking to see if Beck was okay.

The police are currently searching for the driver responsible as they continue their investigation.
