Fatal Pedestrian Crashes in California
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that a fatal pedestrian accident happens approximately every one and a half hours each day in the United States. Drivers remaining alert to pedestrians on the road and sidewalks could have avoided most of these accidents. Some things that seem harmless to a driver– such as backing into a parking spot or making right turns on red– can add up to a pedestrian death if the driver doesn’t keep an eye out for those walking or biking nearby.
Many drivers are used to just focusing on other vehicles; it’s easy to forget that pedestrians have rights as well. If a driver’s negligent behavior has caused you to lose a loved one in a pedestrian crash, contact the attorneys with the Brady Law Group at 866-478-6483 for a complimentary consultation.
