UPDATE: Chino Hills, CA – Jeanine Moncada Killed and 5 Injured in Car Accident on Hwy 71

Chino Hills, CA (June 13, 2019) On the morning of June 12^th, a fatal car accident happened on Highway 71. Six vehicles collided somehow on the highway, which included a box truck and a white Honda Accord. The impact of the crash resulted in the box truck overturning on top of one of the vehicles. The dangerous collision took place at approximately 8:15 a.m.

When the paramedics, fire department, and police arrived, they found the driver of the Honda Accord dead at the scene. She has been identified as 76-year-old Jeanine Moncada. Five other people sustained injuries and were taken to hospitals within close proximity of the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the fatal collision to determine fault.
