Anaheim, CA – Driver Joseph Salcido Of Vista Killed, Three Passengers Injured On Westbound 97 Freeway Near The 57 Freeway
Anaheim, CA (June 15, 2019) – A single-vehicle accident occurred on June 14 at around 1:50 a.m., that took the life of driver Joseph Salcido, 21, of Vista and injured three passengers.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on westbound 97 Freeway near the 57 Freeway.
Salcido was traveling in a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro which collided into the guardrail for unknown reasons. Salcido was ejected from the car due to the impact and he may have been hit by another vehicle.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid to the injured passengers. The injured parties were transported to local hospitals for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, Salcido was pronounced deceased at the scene.
