Irvine, CA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway South of Alton Parkway

Irvine, CA (June 16, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle occurred on June 14th a little after 5:00 a.m. that took the life of one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred on Friday morning along the northbound lanes of 5 Freeway, just South of Alton Parkway.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. They found the rider down in the third lane. A U-Haul truck was located on the right shoulder. Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle did not survive their injuries from this accident.
