El Cajon, CA – Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Broadway Ave

El Cajon, CA (June 17, 2019) On the morning of June 16^th, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Graves Avenue. A woman in her 40’s was crossing the street and a vehicle struck her for unspecified reasons. Sadly, the vehicle did not stop to check on her. The accident happened at approximately 1:05 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found her lying in the roadway unconscious. They transported her to the nearest hospital for treatment of major head and body trauma. Her injuries were deemed life-threatening.

Authorities are currently searching for the driver responsible. The suspected vehicle has been described as white colored.
