Dollar Point, CA – 16-Year-Old Injured in Bicycle Accident on State Hwy 28
Dollar Point, CA (June 18, 2019) On the morning of June 18th, a bicycle accident happened on State Highway 28, close to Old Mill Road. A vehicle was traveling on the highway when the driver claims that the sun got in his eyes, causing him to strike a 16-year-old bicyclist. The accident happened about two miles north of Tahoe City at around 7:40 a.m.
When the paramedics arrived, they found the teenager seriously injured in the road and rushed him to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The accident is still being investigated.
