Richmond, CA – 1 Injured in Car Accident on I-80
Richmond, CA (June 20, 2019) On the night of June 19th, a car accident happened on Interstate 80 Freeway, not far from Columbia Avenue. A white Audi and a Jeep crashed into each other for unspecified reasons at approximately 10:51 p.m.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found at least one person injured and rushed them to the Richmond Community Hospital for treatment. Crews had to remove both damaged vehicles off of the highway to prevent a major traffic jam.
Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine who will be held liable.
