Chico, CA – Cathe Lawson Killed in Two-Car Crash on Hwy 62
Chico, CA (June 25, 2019) On the afternoon of June 24th, a two-car crash happened on Highway 62 and Yosemite Drive. A Subaru and a GMC pickup truck collided at the intersection at around 2:00 p.m. A 61-year-old woman named Cathe Lawson proceeded from the stop sign into the path of the pickup truck driven by 68-year-old Robert Maxam.
When the paramedics and other emergency crews made it to the scene, they found Lawson seriously injured at the scene. They rushed her to the nearest hospital, but sadly, she died at the hospital despite immediate medical attention.
The Chico Police Department is currently investigating the accident to determine who will be held at fault for the accident.
