Petaluma, CA- Point Reyes Petaluma Rd Site of Critical Injury Crash

Petaluma, CA (June 28, 2019)- A multi-car accident left one with critical injuries Saturday on Point Reyes Petaluma Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The CHP stated that around 11:55 am, three vehicles were involved in a pile-up type accident near the French Marin Cheese Factory.

At least one person sustained critical injuries, including a possible broken rib, due to the crash. A medical helicopter transported the victim to Memorial Hospital Neighborhood for care.

The road was blocked in both directions for so that the helicopter could land and so that the damaged vehicles could be removed from the site.

Further details on the accident are not available at this time.
