El Cajon, CA – CHP Motorcycle Officer Injured In Crash With DUI Suspect Interstate 8

El Cajon, CA (June 29, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving suspicion of driving under the influence occurred on June 27, that injured a CHP motorcycle officer.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. A motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following the crash that injured a California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer.

The crash happened on Interstate 8 in El Cajon as the officer was attempting to re-enter traffic after stopping to help a driver whose car had broken down. A white Chevrolet Camaro traveling at a high rate of speed sideswiped the motorcycle. The Camaro driver could face charges including DUI.
