Hollister, CA – Richard Holguin Killed In Motorcycle Wreck At Bolsa & Shore Rds

Hollister, CA (June 29, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck occurred on June 26 just after 5:35 a.m., that took the life of one person.

57-year-old Richard Peter Holguin has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in the traffic accident with a pickup on Wednesday morning. The fatal crash took place along Bolsa Rd., also known as Highway 25.

Holguin was riding a Honda CBR600 north on Bolsa Rd. when he collided with a Ford F-150 pickup which was making a left turn from southbound Bolsa onto Shore. Holguin pulled into the right-turn lane to pass traffic which was stopped before he continued straight through the intersection. Due to the impact, Holguin was ejected from his bike.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. Holguin was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics following the wreck. The motorist of the involved pickup who was identified as a 35-year-old Watsonville man was not injured in the accident.
