Moreno Valley, CA. Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Accident on Highway 60
Moreno Valley, CA. (June 29, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported an accident that took the life of a pedestrian early Friday morning on Highway 60 westbound, east of Day Street. The fatal accident reportedly took place at around 4:00 a.m. Friday morning in Moreno Valley where CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters were called to the scene.

Pedestrian Accident Injury and Wrongful Death Attorney
The investigation into this accident is certainly looking to determine the cause of the crash and who might have been liable. Investigators are most likely looking into right-of-way laws in the area, as well as whether or not excessive speed, intoxication, or distracted driving played a role in the crash. Depending on the results of the investigation, there could possibly be a wrongful death lawsuit available for the family members of the victim.
Sudden, unexpected deaths bring high financial burdens such as hospital bills, funeral costs, and loss of future wages. Many family members choose to seek compensation from the party responsible for the death of a loved one simply because the added financial concerns can be typically overwhelming. While we are certainly proud of our duty to hold negligent drivers liable for the pain and devastation that they often cause, the choice to seek compensation can only be made by the victims’ family.
