Pomona, CA. Pedestrian Crash on South Palomares Street Injures 10-Year-Old Boy

Pomona, CA. (July 1, 2018) – The Pomona Police Department reported a crash that occurred on Saturday night and resulted in the injury of a 10-year-old boy in Pomona. The pedestrian accident reportedly occurred at approximately 8:25 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Palomares Street.

Authorities quickly responded to the scene of the crash where they found a 10-year-old boy had been struck by a vehicle. Responders arrived on the scene in order to provide aid to any victims, and they were reportedly in need of transporting the young victim to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No further details regarding how this crash began have been provided. The name of the victim has not been released, and neither has the name of the driver. It is currently unknown whether or not there were any other injuries involved in the accident. The nature of this crash is reportedly still under investigation in order to conclusively determine liability.
