Rosamond, CA. Joseph Bistany Identified as Man Killed in Fatal Accident on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road

Rosamond, CA. (July 2, 2018) – According to a local and reliable news source, 28-year-old Joseph Anthony Herbert Bistany of Tehachapi was the young man killed in a motor vehicle accident with a truck on Sunday night. The fatal accident took place at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road, just south of Oak Creek Road.

While the details concerning the cause of the fatal collision are still unknown, it is clear that two vehicles collided with one another. Bistany was reportedly driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla when he collided with a pickup truck. The truck was carrying three people including the driver who suffered moderate injuries and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. The two passengers in the truck sustained minor injuries in the collision.

Tragically, Bistany was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation in order to conclusively determine who may be liable for this collision.
