Hayward, CA. Multi-Vehicle Accident Includes 1 Motorcyclist on Highway 92

Hayward, CA. (July 6, 2018) – A crash was reported by the California Highway Patrol Friday morning that involved multiple vehicles. The accident happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Highway 92 in the vicinity of Industrial and Hesperian Boulevards.

Police were reportedly told that a rider on a blue motorcycle crashed into several other motorists. The bike the rider was on apparently ended up beneath a red Ford pickup truck following the collision. At least two other vehicles were reported to have been involved in the accident as well. The two other vehicles that were confirmed to have been involved were a gray sedan and a gray Nissan Versa. Both of those vehicles were reportedly blocking all lanes of traffic after the crash.

A SigAlert was prompted by a traffic jam at 11:25 a.m. Paramedics were called the scene and arrived promptly to assist anyone who was hurt in the accident. There is currently no more information available on the number of victims involved nor the extent of their injuries. The cause of the collision is presently under investigation.
