Trinidad, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on Highway 101 and Big Lagoon Park road

Trinidad, CA. (July 11, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol has reported an accident Wednesday afternoon in which a male pedestrian was apparently struck and injured by a vehicle. The collision reportedly took place at around 12:41 p.m. on Highway 101 at Big Lagoon Park Road.

The report that was filed stated that the injured man was laying down in the road following the accident. Apparently, a small gray Nissan was also at the scene with a cracked and broken windshield. The report also went on to say that there was a surfboard found lying in the street as well.

Paramedics along with the local police were quick to respond to the scene in an effort to assist the injured man. The events that led to this unfortunate accident are presently not known, however, police are now conducting a detailed investigation in order to verify the circumstances that led to the incident, as well as to definitively establish liability.
