Orange County, CA – Man Killed in DUI Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach

Orange County, CA (July 15, 2018) – According to police, a 27-year-old man from Riverside County was reportedly killed in a DUI crash Saturday night in Laguna Beach. The deadly accident that occurred on Pacific Coast Highway near the Aliso Dip took place at approximately 8:55 p.m.

The report filed by police stated that the crash occurred on the southern end of the city and apparently involved two vehicles altogether. The victim was reportedly driving one of the vehicles that were involved as he suffered serious injuries during the accident. Emergency crews arrived on the scene quickly in order to assist anyone who may have been injured. The man was immediately transported to a local hospital to be treated, but he later died there from his injuries.

The name of the victim has not been released at this time as authorities will be notifying his family first. The driver of the other vehicle involved was reportedly arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The events surrounding this unfortunate accident are currently under investigation.
