Sacramento, CA – Accident Involving Motorcycle Rider on Highway 50

Sacramento, CA (July 19, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol released a report stating that a motor vehicle accident occurred Thursday morning in the westbound lanes of Highway 50, in the vicinity of Watt Avenue. The Sacramento collision that involved a motorcyclist and sadly resulted in injuries reportedly took place at around 7:40 a.m.

According to the report made by the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist collided with a Chevrolet Volt for reasons that are presently undetermined. The report went in to say that at least one person was apparently injured during the accident. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after it occurred, and an ambulance had to be requested in order to assist the injured party.

At this time, the extent of injuries suffered by the victim is unknown. There was no more information released in regards to the victims’ identity or how the events that led to the injurious crash. Authorities are now conducting a thoroughly detailed investigation in an effort to understand how this accident happened, and to establish liability.
