Winchester, CA – Motorcycle Involved in Traffic Accident near Simpson and Leon Roads

Winchester, CA (July 19, 2018)- The California Highway Patrol reported that a traffic accident involving an unidentified vehicle and a Harley Davidson motorcycle took place in the vicinity of Simpson and Leon Roads. CHP called in the incident at approximately 2:40 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, July 19, 2017. Authorities have not released any detailed information concerning the identities of the motorcyclist and the motorist at this time.

Based on the CHP report, a 2017 black Harley Davidson and the unidentified larger vehicle were traveling near Simpson and Leon Roads and, for indeterminate reasons, collided at the intersection. Afterward, the Riverside County Fire Department/Cal Fire and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to the motorcyclist, who sustained injuries during the impact.

Later, the victim was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center. Medical personnel have not disclosed the current physical condition of the rider.

Furthermore, the CHP reports did not reveal if the motorist sustained injuries or stayed at the scene of the accident.
