Lancaster, CA – One Dead Two Injured in Fatal Crash on North Seventh Street
Lancaster, CA (July 20, 2018) – A motor vehicle accident at North Seventh Street and East Avenue reportedly claimed the life of one person and injured two others on Thursday night, according to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Department. The deadly and injurious collision apparently took place at around 10:30 p.m. between a car and an SUV.
As per the report, the driver of a 2000 Ford Taurus was traveling westbound on East Avenue approaching Seventh Street when the driver allegedly veered into the path of an oncoming 2007 Nissan Armada SUV. The driver of the Ford reportedly died due to the impact of the collision that also injured two other people in that vehicle. A passenger who was riding in the backseat of the Ford apparently sustained major injuries as the other one suffered wounds that were classified as moderate.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene to assist the injured parties. The two injured passengers were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV was the sole occupant of that vehicle, and they complained about experiencing pain following the accident, although no injuries were specified. Investigators are currently piecing together the events that led to this crash in an effort to establish liability.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family members of the deceased victim during this tragic time, as we wish for a full recovery for the other victims.

Although the report states that the deceased driver turned into the path of the other vehicle, that will not be entirely determined until the investigation is over. If authorities find any negligent behavior on behalf of the other driver, then there may be a claim for compensation to follow.
