San Dimas, CA – Deadly Construction Accident Claims Life of Worker on I-10 Freeway

San Dimas, CA (July 20, 2018) – An accident on the eastbound side of the I-10 Freeway claimed the life of a construction worker who ended up pinned beneath a forklift Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal crash that occurred at the Kellogg Drive off-ramp reportedly took place at around 9:40 a.m., prompting police to issue a SigAlert.

As per the report that was filed by the California Highway Patrol, the Los Angeles County Fire Department immediately responded to the scene. The emergency responders arrived in order to assist the injured victim. Unfortunately, the construction worker who had been injured in the accident died from their injuries.

There is currently no more information available concerning the events that took place in order to cause this tragic accident. The name of the victim has not been released at this time, most likely to give authorities time to notify the loved ones of the deceased victim.
