Dixon, CA – Deadly Head-On Car Crash on Highway 113

Dixon, CA (July 21, 2018) – A head-on collision that reportedly occurred in the northbound lanes of Highway 113, sadly claimed the lives of two people late Friday afternoon, according to a local and trustworthy news source in Dixon. The accident that apparently transpired between Fry Road and Hay Road took place at approximately 5:00 p.m.

A report filed by the California Highway Patrol stated that the male driver of a gray Mini Cooper was heading north on Highway 113 at an excessively high rate of speed when his vehicle allegedly began to veer off the roadway. The driver overcorrected the vehicle in an attempt to stay in his lane but drifted over into the oncoming lane as a result. The Mini Cooper then proceeded to collide head-on with a gray Kia SUV.
