Vacaville, CA – Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 113 Identified as Lynne Waite
Vacaville, CA (July 22, 2018) – A woman who was tragically killed in a head-on collision on Friday night in Vacaville has now been identified as 74-year-old Lynne Waite of Brentwood, according to the Solano County Coroner’s Office. The collision that sadly took Waite’s life occurred on Highway 113 at Hay Road on Friday, July 20th.
A local and reliable news source originally reported the crash that occurred when Waite was traveling south on Highway 113 in a Kia SUV. As per the initial reports, a man driving a Mini Cooper was heading north at the same time when the two vehicles met head-on for reasons that have not yet been determined. Both Waite and the male driver of the Mini Cooper were killed in the accident.
The name of the male victim has not yet been released, and there has been no more information made available with respect to the events that led to the accident. Authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation in order to establish all the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
