Bakersfield, CA – One Victim Dead after Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident along Southbound 5 Freeway near Stockdale Highway

Bakersfield, CA (July 30, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a fatal accident involving two vehicles took place along the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Stockdale Highway. The incident occurred at approximately 10:03 PM at night on Sunday, July 29, 2018. As per the CHP report, two unidentified vehicles were traveling down the 5 Freeway and, for indeterminate reasons, collided, ultimately resulting in one overturning.
