Dublin, CA – Two-Vehicle Accident Involving Motorcycle Takes Place on Interstate 580 near Dougherty Road Off-Ramp

Dublin, CA (July 30, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle took place along Interstate 580 in the vicinity of Dougherty Road off-ramp. CHP first logged the incident at approximately 6:04 PM in the evening on Sunday, July 29, 2018. At this time, no details concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash have been revealed.

Based on the CHP report, an unidentified person was riding a motorcycle along Interstate 580 when, for indeterminate reasons, this individual collided with a white Toyota Highlander. Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and discovered the rider had fallen onto the main road. The current physical condition of the victim has not been disclosed.

Officials did not specify if the Toyota driver had been injured or had remained at the crash site.
