The victims were immediately transported to a local hospital to undergo treatment for their injuries. The California Highway Patrol stated that Lake City Towing had eventually arrived on the scene to tow away both of the vehicles that were involved.
There is no more information available as the CHP have not stated whether or not the suspect has been located at this time. The current conditions of the victims are currently unknown, and authorities are conducting an investigation into the accident.
We offer our sincerest sympathies to the two injured parties as we maintain hope for their full recoveries.
California DUI Accident
While the suspect has not been confirmed as to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident, they also fled the scene of a crash that resulted in bodily injuries. Regardless of why the suspect left the scene and their condition at the time of the accident, they will certainly be facing felony charges once they are located. This will also provide solid grounds for personal injury lawsuits to follow.
