Anza, CA – One Dead after Fatal Collision along Highway 371 near Bautista Road

Anza, CA (July 31, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that one person died as the result of a fatal collision that took place along Highway 371 in the vicinity of Bautista Road. The incident occurred at approximately 9:26 PM at night on Monday, July 30, 2018. At this time, authorities have not released any detailed information concerning the identities of the motorcyclist, the motorist, or any additional people who were involved in the crash.

Based on initial CHP reports, an unidentified person had been riding a motorcycle down Highway 371 when, for indeterminate reasons, a white pickup truck crashed into the bike. Police have yet to determine what specific events leading up to the fatal accident.
