Madera, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Road 23 and Avenue 13

Madera, CA (August 2, 2018) – Two vehicles were reportedly involved in a collision that resulted in at least one injury Wednesday afternoon at or in the vicinity of Road 23 and Avenue 13, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash that occurred between a silver Ford and a red Mazda took place near the intersection at around 1:38 p.m.

The information released stated that one of the drivers involved suffered serious injuries to their back and was apparently unable to free themselves from their vehicle. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to offer medical assistance to the injured party. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Indications have shown that the accident seems to have been a rear-end collision. However, that information has not been entirely verified at this time.
