Turlock, CA – One Person Injured after Suspected Hit-and-Run Collision along Highway 165 near Bradbury Road
Turlock, CA (August 3, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that one person sustained injuries as the result of a suspected hit-and-run collision that took place in the vicinity of Highway 165 near Bradbury Road. Officers first logged the incident at approximately 4:24 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, August 2, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the accident has been revealed at this time.
Based on the reports from the CHP, a white GMC Yukon was traveling along Highway 165 and, for indeterminate reasons, slammed into the rear end of an unidentified vehicle. Sometime later, paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and assisted a minimum of one victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries during the impact.
Officials have indicated the Yukon driver did not stop to help the victim and fled the crash site. According to reports, the suspect vehicle sustained damage to its rear end. Police are still attempting to locate the hit-and-run driver.
Presently, the investigation is ongoing. As more evidence continues to surface, more information will be released to public sources.
