Sonoma, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Traffic Collision on Highway 37 and Lakeville Highway

Sonoma, CA (August 4, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a crash that occurred on Highway 37 at Lakeville Highway on Friday afternoon in Sonoma. The injurious crash which involved multiple vehicles reportedly took place in the westbound lanes of Highway 37 at approximately 3:28 p.m.

According to the report that was filed by the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved three vehicles altogether. The reason for the collision is unknown at this time. Medical personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene of the crash and arrived promptly I order to assist any injured victims.

Officials confirmed that at least one person suffered injuries that were classified as minor. That person was immediately taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital to undergo any necessary treatment for their injuries. Tow trucks were called down to the scene in order to clear the damaged vehicles from the highway.

No further information has been provided in regards to the cause of this accident. Likewise, neither the name nor current condition of the injured victim has been released. Authorities are actively investigating the events that led to this incident in an effort to establish liability.
