Sanger, CA – One Killed and One Injured in Fatal Rollover Accident on Frankwood Avenue

Sanger, CA (August 5, 2018) – One man was reported to have died and two others suffered injuries following a crash that involved two vehicles on Frankwood Avenue in Fresno County on Sunday morning, according to a local and dependable news source. The fatal crash that reportedly transpired on Frankwood Avenue and Highway 80 apparently took place at approximately 1:05 p.m.

According to authorities, a woman who was driving a Camry in the northbound lane of Frankwood Avenue was sideswiped by a jeep at a two-way stop. The male driver of the jeep and the Camry collided with one another for reasons that are currently unknown. Reports stated that the jeep rolled down a hill after the collision.

Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene where the male driver of the jeep was sadly pronounced dead. Two occupants of the Camry reportedly sustained injuries during the collision. One of the victims in the car suffered minor injuries while the others’ injuries were classified as major. Both of those victims were quickly transported to the hospital.

No more information was made available in regards to the cause of this crash, however, authorities do not suspect that drugs or alcohol were involved in any capacity. The names of the victims have not been released as the crash remains under investigation by authorities.
