Orange Cove, CA – Two Injured in Head-on Collision on Adams Avenue

Orange Cove, CA (August 7, 2018) – A head-on collision resulted in two injuries, one of which has been classified as serious, Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Adams and Anchor Avenues. The crash transpired a little west of South Anchor Avenue around 2:00 p.m.

The report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that they received a call reporting a head-on crash between two vehicles that occurred on Adams Avenue for reasons that are currently undetermined. One of the victims involved had been ejected from their vehicle due to the impact of the collision.

Paramedics along with officials from the fire department were called to the scene and arrived immediately in order to assist the two victims. One of the victims was indicated to be a 20-year-old man who was reportedly airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center suffering from major injuries. The other injured party sustained injuries that were considered to be minor.

No more information has been provided concerning the events that led to this incident, and neither the names nor the specific conditions of the victims have been released. The collision is currently under investigation.
