Galt, CA – Injuries Sustained in Motor Vehicle Accident on Highway 99 near Twin Cities Road

Galt, CA (August 7, 2018) – A crash that involved two vehicles and resulted in injuries reportedly occurred Tuesday afternoon on Highway 99 in Galt, Sacramento County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident which transpired in the northbound lanes of the highway, south of the Twin Cities Road n-ramp took place at approximately 1:58 p.m.

The report released by CHP officials stated that the accident occurred between a white sedan and a silver Dodge pickup truck. The sedan ended up blocking the roadway following the impact of the collision while the pickup truck was reported to have been facing the wrong way in the center divider.

Paramedics along with firefighters responded to the call and immediately arrived on the scene to assist any victims. The responders confirmed that serious injuries had been suffered during the accident. However, the exact number of those who were injured in the collision has not been confirmed at this time.
