Pittsburg, CA – Motorcycle Crash Results in Injuries on Highway 4
Pittsburg, CA (August 8, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a crash involving a motorcyclist that unfortunately resulted in injuries Wednesday morning on Highway 4 in Pittsburg. The crash that was reported to have occurred at approximately 6:37 a.m. took place in the westbound lanes of the highway, west of Loveridge Road.
The report which was released by the California Highway Patrol stated that the accident transpired between a motorcyclist and a pickup truck. However, the reason for the crash was not made clear at this time. Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene to attend to any injured victims.
Paramedics assisted at least one victim who seemed to be suffering from injuries that were classified as minor. While injuries were confirmed, there was no word as to whether or not the victim had to be transported to a hospital for further treatment.
No further information has been provided in regards to the events that ultimately led to this accident. Similarly, no details concerning the name or current condition of the victim have been released. The California Highway Patrol is currently in charge of the investigation.
