Brentwood, CA – Motorcyclist Injured after Collision on Eastbound Highway 4 near Sand Creek Road
Brentwood, CA (August 17, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a motorcyclist sustained injuries as the result of a collision with a larger vehicle that took place along the eastbound lanes of Highway 4, in the vicinity of Sand Creek Road. The incident transpired at approximately 3:33 PM in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. According to the CHP report, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a gold Honda Accord were traveling along the highway when, for indeterminate reasons, both vehicles collided near Sand Creek Road. The force of the impact caused the rider to roll across traffic lanes.
Sometime later, Contra Costa firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to the motorcyclist, who sustained non-life threatening injuries during the accident. Meanwhile, authorities reported the Honda’s windshield was broken during the impact. Officials did not reveal if the driver suffered injuries.
